The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Manistee seeking Robotics Technicians who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on robotic systems and associated equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic cells. Execute repairs, replacements, and adjustments of robotic components and end-effectors. Modify existing robot programs (teach points, adjust parameters) to optimize production processes. Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new robotic systems. Calibrate robots and peripheral equipment to ensure precision and accuracy. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and program changes accurately. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree or technical certificate in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline. 2+ years of hands-on experience with industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in robot programming, teach pendant operation, and fault diagnosis/troubleshooting. Strong understanding of electrical schematics, mechanical systems, pneumatics, and basic PLC logic. Ability to perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and repair of robotic systems. Familiarity with industrial safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
