Quality Technician - Wyoming Area

Quality Technician | Wyoming, MI Salary Range: $40,000 - $63,000 depending on experience Are you a skilled professional with a passion for inspection, testing, and ensuring product quality? Key Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products. Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) to verify product specifications. Document inspection results accurately, maintain quality records, and prepare inspection reports. Identify and quarantine non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective action procedures. Assist in root cause analysis for quality issues and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Conduct regular calibration checks and maintain calibration records for inspection equipment. Collaborate with production teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and manufacturing processes. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications, including GD&T. Working knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality control methodologies (e.g., SPC). Experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Strong computer skills for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
