Key Responsibilities Perform inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products. Document inspection and test results, maintaining accurate quality records. Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate actions. Operate and maintain various inspection and measurement equipment, ensuring proper calibration. Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Support the quality management system (QMS) through audits and process improvements. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality discrepancies. Recommended Qualifications High School Diploma or GED; technical certification or Associate's degree in a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or assurance role. Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and interpreting technical drawings/blueprints. Solid understanding of quality inspection methods, basic statistical process control (SPC), and non-conformance procedures. Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and accurate documentation skills.
