Collaborate with production and planning teams to optimize inventory levels and support manufacturing schedules. Identify and implement process improvements in the purchasing department to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations in all purchasing activities. Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing team to achieve departmental goals. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience in purchasing and supply chain management within a manufacturing environment. Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems for procurement and inventory management. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a purchasing team. In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards. Bonus Qualifications Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Proven experience with international sourcing and logistics. Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP system implementation or optimization. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
