Key Responsibilities Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement. Design, develop, and implement manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment. Identify and resolve production issues, bottlenecks, and quality defects through root cause analysis. Create and maintain detailed manufacturing process documentation, work instructions, and BOMs. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by developing manufacturing processes and validating production readiness. Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability of new products and implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related engineering field. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role within a production environment. Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for process and tooling design. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification. Experience with robotics programming and automation integration. Proficiency in advanced simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim). Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies (e.g., IoT, AI/ML).
