Key Responsibilities Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality. Design, implement, and qualify tooling, fixtures, and equipment. Support new product introduction (NPI) from prototype to full production. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Create and update manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process specifications. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, improve yields, and enhance product quality. Perform equipment selection, justification, and installation for production lines. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including process development and optimization. Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement tools. Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for fixture design, tooling, and process layout. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot manufacturing processes, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Strong understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Experience with automation, robotics, or PLC programming. Proficiency in advanced CAD/CAM software for tooling and fixture design. Demonstrated experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analytics tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
