Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Develop, evaluate, and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment to support manufacturing operations. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies. Support new product introductions by defining manufacturing requirements and developing robust production processes. Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, optimize processes, and reduce waste. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. 3-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably high-volume production. Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for tooling and fixture design. Demonstrated experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis. Experience with automation, robotics, or PLC programming in a manufacturing setting. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) or robotic systems. Experience with advanced CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software or data visualization tools (e.g., Minitab, Power BI).
