The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Newaygo that are seeking Maintenance Managers. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime. Manage urgent equipment breakdowns and reactive maintenance, ensuring timely and effective repairs to restore production. Control and manage the maintenance department budget, including spare parts inventory, tools, and external contractor services. Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and optimize operational efficiency. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support new equipment installations and process improvements. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience leading maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment. Strong technical expertise in industrial machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing Preventive (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs. Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order management and reporting. Ability to manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and optimize spare parts inventory. Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
