Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical components, wiring, and control systems. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical infrastructure to ensure operational reliability. Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for system analysis and repair. Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, electrical codes (e.g., NFPA 70E, NEC), and company policies. Calibrate and repair instrumentation and control devices, including PLCs and VFDs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used. Recommended Qualifications Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent provincial/state certification. 5+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting and programming PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens). Expertise in motor control systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and industrial power distribution. Thorough understanding and strict adherence to electrical safety codes (e.g., NFPA 70E) and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
