Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production, technical, and administrative positions. Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and safety regulations relevant to manufacturing. Administer compensation and benefits programs, including wage structures, shift differentials, and performance incentives. Lead the design and delivery of training programs, focusing on safety, technical skills, and leadership development for plant personnel. Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans for all manufacturing staff. Collaborate with EHS to foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety standards. Recommended Qualifications Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated expertise in labor relations, employee engagement, and conflict resolution within a plant setting. In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including OSHA, FMLA, FLSA, and EEO regulations. Proven ability to manage talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies for production and skilled trade roles. Strong understanding of HRIS and payroll systems relevant to a manufacturing workforce. Bonus Qualifications Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and their application to HR. Experience with labor relations in a manufacturing setting, including collective bargaining. Proficiency in a second language common in the local workforce (e.g., Spanish, Vietnamese). Certification in an industrial safety program (e.g., OSHA 30).
