Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal EHS regulations and company standards. Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs. Conduct EHS risk assessments and implement control measures to mitigate hazards. Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation. Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all employees and contractors. Manage EHS data, metrics, and reporting to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement. Oversee emergency preparedness and response plans, including drills and equipment maintenance. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related scientific field. 5+ years of progressive EHS management experience in a manufacturing environment. Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other federal/state EHS regulations. Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and manage effective EHS programs and management systems. Strong leadership and communication skills with a proven track record of fostering a safety culture. Professional EHS certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH) are highly preferred. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification. Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems. Proficiency with advanced EHS data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Prior experience in a heavily unionized manufacturing environment.
