Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain critical manufacturing IT systems (e.g., MES, ERP, SCADA, PLCs) to ensure high availability and performance. Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) environments. Oversee the IT infrastructure within the manufacturing facility, including networks, servers, and end-user devices, ensuring robust and secure operations. Collaborate with production and operations teams to identify and implement technology solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and quality. Manage IT projects related to manufacturing expansion, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives (e.g., Industry 4.0). Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and internal IT policies for data integrity and system security in a manufacturing context. Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers specific to manufacturing hardware and software. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, systems, and applications within a manufacturing environment (e.g., ERP, MES, SCADA). Strong leadership and project management skills, including budget and vendor management. Expertise in operational technology (OT) security and industrial control systems (ICS) cybersecurity best practices. Demonstrated ability to align IT strategy with manufacturing business objectives and drive digital transformation initiatives. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality control systems. Bonus Qualifications Experience managing or integrating Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or SCADA. Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, AI/ML, digital twin) in a production environment. Certification or practical experience with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. Understanding of IT/OT convergence and industrial cybersecurity principles.
