Key Responsibilities Oversee all financial reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, with a focus on manufacturing costs and operational efficiency. Manage and optimize cost accounting systems, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation. Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity. Analyze production costs, gross margins, and profitability by product line to provide strategic insights to management. Manage cash flow, working capital, and fixed asset accounting. Coordinate and manage external audits and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Recommended Qualifications Minimum 7-10 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience, with at least 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred. Expertise in cost accounting principles, inventory valuation, and internal control best practices relevant to manufacturing operations. Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Proven ability to manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis cycles. Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in team management and cross-functional collaboration. Bonus Qualifications Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated application of Lean manufacturing principles or other continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency in data analytics and business intelligence (BI) tools for financial insights. Experience with multi-site or international manufacturing operations.
