Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement industrial automation solutions (e.g., PLCs, HMIs, SCADA). Program and configure PLCs, industrial robots, vision systems, and motion control devices. Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation system failures and performance issues. Optimize existing manufacturing processes through automation for improved efficiency, quality, and throughput. Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to define automation requirements and integrate solutions. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, control narratives, and operational manuals. Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley) and debugging. Experience with HMI/SCADA system design, development, and implementation. Knowledge of industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) programming and integration. Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus). Ability to integrate and calibrate sensors, actuators, and other control devices. Bonus Qualifications Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB). Proficiency in machine vision system setup and programming (e.g., Cognex, Keyence). Knowledge of data historian systems (e.g., OSIsoft PI) and SQL for data analysis from automation platforms. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices for Operational Technology (OT) networks.
