Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and program PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for manufacturing processes. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with automated production lines and equipment. Lead the integration and commissioning of new automation machinery and robotic systems. Optimize existing automation systems to improve efficiency, productivity, and product quality. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including electrical schematics and program code. Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production teams on automation systems. Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related technical field. Strong proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA development. Experience with industrial robot programming, integration, and maintenance (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB). Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP). Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues in automation systems. Bonus Qualifications Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB, Universal Robots). Familiarity with machine vision systems and their integration. Knowledge of data historians (e.g., OSIsoft PI) and industrial data analytics platforms. Understanding of OT cybersecurity principles and best practices. Certifications or experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
