The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Walker that are seeking skilled Robotics Technicians. Key Responsibilities Perform routine preventative maintenance on industrial robotic systems and associated automation. Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic work cells. Execute corrective repairs, including component replacement and recalibration, on robotic equipment. Program and reprogram robot paths, logic, and sequences for new products or process optimizations. Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new robotic systems and peripheral equipment. Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, repairs, and programming changes. Provide technical support and training to production operators on robotic system operation. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field. 2+ years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA). Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens). Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including reading schematics and blueprints. Understanding of industrial safety protocols (e.g., Lockout/Tagout) and quality standards. Bonus Qualifications Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence, Fanuc iRVision) for guidance or inspection. Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and IT/OT integration. Proficiency in robot simulation software (e.g., RoboGuide, RobotStudio, Process Simulate). Basic CAD software familiarity for understanding layouts or fixture design.
