The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Whitehall seeking Robotics Technicians who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial robotic systems and associated automation equipment. Perform routine preventative maintenance on robots to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Install, calibrate, and program new robotic cells and peripheral devices for manufacturing processes. Modify and optimize robot programs using teach pendants and integrated software to enhance production efficiency. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve complex technical issues and implement improvements. Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, repairs, and program revisions. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and company standards during all robotic operations and maintenance. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree or technical certification in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering technology field. 2+ years of hands-on experience with industrial robots (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB) in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of robotic systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software components. Strong understanding of PLC programming, motor controls, sensors, and HMI interfaces. Ability to interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and robot programming logic. Bonus Qualifications Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence). Proficiency in a CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for layout and tooling. Familiarity with robotic simulation software (e.g., RobotStudio, Process Simulate). Basic networking skills for industrial protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
