Key Responsibilities Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products. Conduct various tests and measurements to verify product specifications and quality standards. Document inspection results, non-conformances, and maintain accurate quality records. Identify, isolate, and report non-conforming materials and assist with disposition processes. Ensure all measuring and testing equipment is calibrated and properly maintained. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Support the development and revision of quality control procedures and work instructions. Recommended Qualifications High School Diploma or GED; technical certification or Associate's degree in a technical field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or quality control role. Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and interpreting engineering drawings. Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and basic quality tools (e.g., SPC, Root Cause Analysis). Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to accurately document quality data. Bonus Qualifications Lean/Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or equivalent experience. Experience with Minitab or other statistical analysis software for data analysis. Internal auditor experience for ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems. Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Experience with calibration of measurement equipment.
