Location: Lisbon, Portugal Work Model: On-Site Language Required: Dutch + English Schedule: Monday to Sunday | 24/7 rotative shifts | 2 rotative days off Start Date: 30 April 2026 Contract: CDD 6 months Salary: 1,100€ base × 14 months | Meal allowance 7.63€/day Bonus / Extra: €100 complexity bonus × 11 months Relocation: Shared accommodation for relocators from outside Portugal (up to 12 months). No flight ticket. About the Role Join the Dutch-speaking content moderation team for one of the world's largest short-video and social media platforms. You will review user-generated content against platform community guidelines, making daily decisions that directly impact platform safety for millions of users. This role requires emotional resilience — you will be exposed to sensitive and potentially disturbing content as part of your regular workflow. Wellbeing support and structured psychological protocols are in place. Note: the client prefers candidates with no prior experience working for this organisation. What You Will Do Review Dutch-language user-generated content against community guidelines Make consistent, policy-based decisions on content approval, restriction, or removal Identify and escalate high-severity content following defined protocols Maintain accuracy and decision consistency under time pressure Participate in calibration sessions to ensure policy alignment Flag policy gaps or edge cases for continuous improvement What We Are Looking For • Dutch • English No prior work experience with this client organisation (any country or project) Emotional resilience — ability to process distressing content professionally Strong decision-making and written communication skills Understanding of online culture and digital communities • EU ID, valid Portuguese residence permit, or equivalent What's In It for You • 1,100€ × 14 months | €100 complexity bonus × 11 months • Meal allowance 7.63€/day Health insurance (from day 1, free after 6 months) • Shared accommodation for relocators • Psychological wellbeing support provided Trust and safety sector experience — growing field in tech
