Job Description Our client is expanding their Verification organization and is looking for experienced Senior and Lead Verification Engineers with strong expertise in RTL verification and microprocessor architecture. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the correctness and functionality of complex digital designs at Register Transfer Level, according to architectural specifications. You will apply advanced verification methodologies and contribute to the validation of high performance processor designs. Location : Barcelona, Spain - Hybrid Employment Type: Full time or Contract Responsibilities: As a Senior / Lead Verification Engineer , your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Verify complex RTL designs according to architecture specifications Develop and maintain verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM Manage regression environments using scripting and automation tools Perform block level, sub system and top level verification Apply formal and dynamic verification techniques Analyze and debug simulation results Contribute to verification planning, coverage analysis and closure Collaborate closely with architecture and RTL design teams Additional Responsibilities for Lead Verification Engineers Only: Lead the Verification Team and provide technical direction Define verification strategy and methodology for assigned projects Coordinate verification planning and milestone tracking Mentor and support junior and senior verification engineers Act as main escalation point for complex verification challenges Requirements: Experience with RTL or FPGA Master or PhD in Electronics, Computer Engineering or related field English level C1 or higher 8+ years of relevant industrial experience Strong proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Bash or TCL Experience with simulation and regression tools Knowledge of revision control systems such as git or svn Experience in block level, sub system or top level verification Experience with formal and dynamic verification methodologies Additional Requirements for Lead Verification Engineers Only: Proven experience leading verification teams Demonstrated ability to define and drive verification methodologies across projects Strong leadership and coordination skills What’s in it for you?
