Our client is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with 10–15 years of experience to join their Atlanta office. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, collaborative professional looking to take on a leadership role within a dynamic, forward‑thinking engineering firm. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise along with client-facing and business development capabilities. In this role, you will work directly with clients, collaborate closely with discipline leaders and business development teams, and play a key role in mentoring and growing a high‑performing structural engineering team within a multidisciplinary environment. Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation Assistance Requirements: Technical Leadership Collaborate with regional offices to deliver integrated project solutions. Design steel, concrete, and masonry systems for new and existing construction. Coordinate complex, multi-discipline projects from concept through construction. Lead structural analysis, design, and detailing for commercial, industrial, institutional, federal, and infrastructure projects. Project Management Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables. Maintain strong internal and external client relationships. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, architects, contractors, and owners. Client Engagement & Business Development Develop fee-based and qualification-based proposals. Participate actively in marketing and business development initiatives. Team Leadership Mentor junior engineers and support team development. Qualifications/Must-Haves: Willingness to travel as needed. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license. 10–15 years of progressive structural engineering experience. Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and time management skills. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. Proven experience designing steel, concrete, and masonry structures. Strong project management skills, including budget and schedule oversight. Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as RISA, RAM, ETABS, Enercalc, AutoCAD, and Revit. Preferred Skills: Project Management certifications are a plus. Experience with light-gauge steel and timber design. Local AHJ experience and established industry relationships. Active involvement in professional or industry organizations.
