Senior C++ Engineer, Market Access

My client, a top financial services provider in Hong Kong are seeking a skilled Senior C++ Engineer to join the Hong Kong team. Youll design, implement and support production-grade components that connect trading venues, liquidity providers and internal consumers while partnering closely with infrastructure, QA and security teams. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop high-performance, low-latency market access and trading components in C++ (with cross-language integrations as needed). Own architecture and system analysis for connectivity, order flow, gateway and market-data ingestion services; produce clear design docs, functional specs and test plans. Lead delivery across the software lifecycle: coding, code review, automated testing, CI/CD, deployment and production support/incident response. Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine requirements and translate them into robust, production-ready designs. Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks, enforce security and compliance best practices, and work with DevOps and cyber teams to harden systems. What You'll Bring: 7+ years relevant experience building large-scale, mission‑critical market systems or low-latency financial infrastructure. Strong C++ skills within the financal services sector. Deep understanding of networking, IPC, multicast/unicast market-data feeds, order routing, and performance tuning. Solid experience with databases, message buses, real‑time telemetry, and automated testing/CI pipelines. Practical knowledge of DevOps practices, production support and incident management. Good grasp of securities and/or derivatives market concepts and requirements. Strong analytical, communication and team leadership skills.
