Site Manager Location: Woolwich (Site Based) Salary: £45,000 + Company Van Hours: 7:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday Overtime paid at 1.5x rate A growing construction contractor delivering refurbishment and planned works programmes across MOD housing is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee live works in Woolwich. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role working closely alongside the Programme Manager to ensure projects are running smoothly, safely and on programme. The Role Oversee day-to-day site operations across refurbishment works Ensure sufficient labour, subcontractors and materials are on site Coordinate contractors and direct staff Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations Ensure site compliance and quality standards are maintained Monitor progress against programme deadlines Report into the Programme Manager with regular site updates Resolve on-site issues efficiently and proactively This is a fully site-based position requiring strong leadership presence and attention to detail. The Candidate Proven experience as a Site Manager within refurbishment, planned works or housing projects Strong understanding of site compliance and H&S requirements Comfortable coordinating subcontractors and managing site teams Organised and deadline-focused SSSTS required CSCS card required Full UK driving licence Must be able to pass a DBS check (MOD contract requirement) Package £45,000 salary Company van 7:30am – 3:30pm working hours Overtime paid at 1.5x Long-term secured programme This is an opportunity to join a contractor with strong pipeline security and structured programmes in place.
