Bioprocess Scientist (Downstream) needs 2+ years of hands-on purification experience (academic or industry) Bioprocess Scientist (Downstream) requires: Masters degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field. Ion-exchange and affinity chromatography Buffer preparation Basic analytical characterization methods Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project timelines Experience with AAV or other viral vector purification Hands-on experience with AKTA systems and Unicorn software hands-on experience in CsCl density gradient ultracentrifugation, chromatography techniques, and tangential flow filtration (TFF), along with strong analytical and documentation skills. Bioprocess Scientist (Downstream) duties: Support purification and characterization of viral vectors, biologics, and recombinant proteins for process development and manufacturing activities.
