Azure Integration Developer (Logic Apps / API)

Location: EU Number of Roles: 2 x Resources Focus: API Development & Logic Apps Orchestration Role Type: Technical Developer Contract Duration: 6 months Contract details: B2B/ PFA or SRL Role Overview We are looking for two Azure Integration Developers to join our team in building a robust integration bridge between Microsoft Power Apps and SAP SuccessFactors . Working under the guidance of our Senior Engineers, you will be responsible for the "hands-on" development of API workflows using Azure Logic Apps . Your role is crucial in transforming business requirements into functional, automated data flows that ensure our HR data remains synchronized and accessible across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities Workflow Development: Build and enhance Logic Apps flows based on technical specifications and integration designs. Component Configuration: Set up and optimize standard/custom connectors, data mappings (JSON/XML), and complex transformations. Error Handling: Implement resilient retry policies and error-handling logic to ensure high reliability of data movement. Standardization: Develop reusable templates and components, strictly following project-wide naming conventions and monitoring standards. API Exposure: Assist in publishing and managing APIs through Azure API Management (APIM) and maintain up-to-date technical documentation. DevOps & Testing: Participate in automated testing, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and assist with environment promotions via Azure DevOps. Required Skills & Experience Technical Core Logic Apps: Practical experience building and troubleshooting Logic Apps workflows. API Fundamentals: Solid understanding of REST APIs , HTTP methods, and handling JSON payloads. Integration Patterns: Familiarity with common patterns like request-response, fire-and-forget, and batch processing. Tools: Basic experience with Azure DevOps (version control and build/release pipelines) and API testing tools like Postman . Learning Agility: A strong willingness to deepen your knowledge of Azure APIM and enterprise-grade security. Soft Skills Detail Oriented: High attention to detail regarding data mapping and documentation. Collaborative: Ability to work effectively within a team, taking direction from senior leads while proactively flagging technical blockers. Nice to Have SaaS Experience: Previous experience integrating with SAP SuccessFactors or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/HR) systems. Security Awareness: Understanding of modern authentication patterns, specifically OAuth2 and Azure Managed Identities . Data Transformation: Experience with Liquid templates or advanced expression building in Azure. Key Deliverables Functional Endpoints: Fully implemented Logic Apps workflows mapped to specific SuccessFactors operations (e.g., "Get Employee Detail" or "Update Record"). Technical Docs: Updated API documentation including endpoint definitions and data schemas. Quality Evidence: Completed test logs and evidence of successful deployment across Dev and Test environments.
