Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Ruby and Ruby on Rails to join a rapidly growing consumer technology company building scalable pharmacy, telemedicine, and e-commerce platforms in the healthcare space. About the Project: The team develops and scales a proprietary telemedicine system with integrated electronic health records, web-based video calls, and SIP-based phone-to-web conversion, alongside a large-scale pharmacy platform and a fully integrated e-commerce system. As the company expands and launches new products, engineering plays a central role in evolving these core systems. Key Responsibilities: Architect and build key features across pharmacy operations, e-commerce, and telemedicine platforms; Produce high-quality code for peer review; Conduct code reviews for peers; Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Qualifications: Strong computer science fundamentals, especially algorithms and data structures; Deep expertise in Ruby and Ruby on Rails; Very good working knowledge of Python, SQL, and TypeScript (or JavaScript); Experience designing non-trivial systems and creative engineering solutions; BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Math, Science, Engineering, Economics, or another highly quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience).
