Digital Manufacturing Engineer

Our client is looking for a Digital Manufacturing Engineer to join their Advanced Manufacturing team. This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on building and integrating digital solutions on the shop floor. You'll develop apps, connect enterprise systems, and create analytics that help manufacturing sites operate smarter — all while leading projects and mentoring others. RESPONSIBILITIES Build and maintain shop floor applications with a focus on MES platforms Integrate manufacturing systems with enterprise solutions (SAP, CMMS, etc.) Design and maintain dashboards and analytics in Power BI and Tulip Analytics Support end-of-line test cell enhancements Evaluate new solutions and support lab/proof of concept testing Manage assigned project schedules and budgets Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions with operations teams Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours application support REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Industrial Technology 5+ years of manufacturing experience supporting operations technology Experience with MES platforms (Tulip, Proficy, FactoryLogix, Rockwell, Siemens, or similar) SQL proficiency — queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers OT programming experience: Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar Experience with OPC/MQTT standards and REST API integration Experience with cloud-based analytics and reporting PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with SCADA, PLCs, data historians, CMMS, or computer vision OPC server and data tag experience Proven track record leading technical projects from requirements through deployment Experience integrating OT and enterprise systems SCREENING QUESTIONS (add to Manatal's questionnaire section) Do you have experience designing and building software solutions for shop floor use?
