Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - This position is open only to candidates based in Latin America. Archie Labs builds smarter software by combining AI and expert human teams. We are looking for a hands-on Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, production reliability, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments. The ideal candidate combines software engineering discipline with deep operational expertise, ensuring high availability, scalability, performance optimization, and secure management of distributed systems and virtual desktop environments. Responsabilities Reliability & Production Operations Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets. Ensure high availability (HA) and disaster recovery readiness. Lead incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and postmortems. Improve MTTR and reduce operational toil through automation. Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks. Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering Design and operate infrastructure on AWS / Azure / GCP. Manage containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes). Optimize performance, reliability, and cloud cost efficiency. Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Mandatory) Design and manage VDI/DaaS environments. Azure Virtual Desktop Manage golden images, user profiles, and desktop provisioning automation. Optimize latency, GPU utilization, and end-user experience. Integrate VDI with Active Directory / Azure AD. Ensure security, compliance, and access governance.
