Data Analyst Intern

Our client is seeking a results-driven Data Analyst Intern to support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming complex datasets into actionable insights, building dashboards and reports, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires strong analytical capability, technical expertise in data processing and visualization, and the ability to collaborate across business units. Key Responsibilities Data Analysis & Reporting Generate regular and ad-hoc analytical reports. Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources. Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support strategic business decisions. Present findings through structured reports and data visualizations. Dashboard Development & Visualization Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and performance reports. Create data visualization tools to track KPIs and business metrics. Continuously improve reporting efficiency and automation. Forecasting & Predictive Analytics Perform data analytics and statistical analyses on large datasets. Assist in forecasting, modelling, and predictive analytics projects. Apply advanced statistical methods and analytical techniques. Data Management & Process Improvement Optimize data processes and reporting workflows. Complete data cleansing, validation, and updates. Support senior management with ad hoc analysis requests. Work with Data Engineering teams to automate reports where applicable. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, etc.) to understand business needs. Translate business requirements into analytical outputs. Monitor key performance indicators and recommend improvement actions. Prepare and present insights to internal stakeholders and clients. Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong analytical and statistical skills. Experience working with large and complex datasets. Proficiency in data visualization and dashboard tools. Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
