BI Analyst

Role: BI Analyst Experience & Education 1–4 years of experience in BI, data analysis, or MIS roles within fintech, banking, or payments Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field Technical Skills Strong proficiency in SQL for analyzing transactional and financial datasets Hands-on experience with Power BI. Ability to design dashboards and MIS reports for: Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) Strong command of Excel for financial analysis and reconciliation Basic understanding of ETL pipelines and data transformations Understanding of payments, remittance, FX, cards, or digital banking workflows Familiarity with financial KPIs : Ability to reconcile transaction-level data across systems Translate business and regulatory requirements into accurate, actionable dashboards Perform root-cause analysis on transaction failures and discrepancies Support management reporting and ad-hoc analysis Validate data consistency across multiple source systems Nice to Have Exposure to ledger, settlement, and reconciliation reports is a plus Awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements (QCB, AML, KYC, audit) Basic Python for data analysis and automation Experience with payment gateways, core banking, or remittance platforms Exposure to data warehousing and dimensional modeling Experience building regulatory or audit reports Understanding of data privacy and access controls
