Fleet Shop Supervisor / Service Writer

TCI Leasing is looking for hard working, dedicated team players who possess a positive attitude to work as Shop Supervisor in our busy fleet shop! Our fleet drives the business. Are you the leader who can keep it moving? If you are an Experienced Shop Supervisor with attention to detail, WE WANT YOU ! Schedule Days: Monday through Friday Shift Time: 7am to 4pm Pay: $22 to $28 an hour depending on skills and experience Management Skills & Requirements: Manage day to day activities in a maintenance repair facility Manage day to day Service Writer responsibilites for Stockton and Merced Shops Knowledge of Transportation Industry Required Must be able to multitask Be able to take information for breakdowns and dispatch repairs locally and out of area to effectively minimize down time Accurately complete written record of work performance Maintain a clean work and shop area as directed by Safety SOP's Communicate w/ drivers & customers regarding DVIR's (Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports) Must possess a valid driver's license, preferably a commercial license Self-motivated & Leadership skills a plus Physically be able to stand for long periods of time Ability to be on call Effectively communicate w/ all internal and external customers Manage all shop personnel Provide supervision and productivity of all personnel Monitoring yard conditions Provide a safe working environment Monitor over all condition, cleanliness, readiness and reliability On time P.M. and scheduling Total tire management Proper use and control of shop equipment Daily management quality inspections Prioritize all jobs on work planning sheet on a daily basis TCI Benefits & Perks Weekly Pay Comprehensive Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision) Employee Paid Life and AD&D Insurance 401k with Company Match Employee Discount Programs through National Retail Chains About Us: We are a family-owned company doing business since 1978.
