System Engineer Car Camera Sensing Functions

The project itself is a whole system, including HW and SW. The team is involved in ensuring that the algorithms that our supplier delivers, are well integrated into the system that there are no performance issues, and are according to the requirements. The team owns the sensing functions from the camera perspective, as an example: - object detection - pedestrian detection - lane boundary detection - traffic sign detection Important: We are not SW developers, nor Algorithm developers. We are system engineers with a focus on sensing functions. Product information : - HW architecture is DAT2.X, which contains Mobileye EyeQ3 chip. Camera is 100deg and 3Mpx. Must have skills: - problem resolution - time management - system engineering understanding. V-model SYS1, SYS2, and SYS3, + understanding of testing at the vehicle level (VST) and on the bench (ITV), to lead, coordinate, and push for results. The candidates must be capable of re-writing existing documentation and requirements to align with new developments. - communication skills: Daily alignment with internal teams – customers (located in Germany) and suppliers (located in Israel). ENGLISH is a working language. - critical thinking - team-oriented. - strong in office package Nice to have skills: - Python is good to have in order to quickly analyze data - knowledge of the SW development process - experienced in automotive - German Programming language or language requirements and framework! - Python-Basics - Canoe: good to have The team is a System engineering team, located in Krakow, and in Germany. Most of the iterations are with the Krakow team internally but with customers in Germany, and suppliers in Israel. The team is young and dynamic, very agile, and reactive to escalations when needed.
