We are seeking a dedicated educator to join our Languages department, starting September 2025. Our Languages department is a collaborative team dedicated to delivering an engaging and challenging curriculum. About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging French lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, following the National Curriculum and relevant examination specifications. Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported. Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including interactive activities, cultural immersion experiences, and technology, to enhance student learning. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level French examinations, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria. Contribute to the development of the French curriculum and resources, integrating faith-based perspectives where appropriate. Foster a love of French language and culture in students, encouraging them to develop their communication skills, cultural awareness, and appreciation of diversity. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and upholding the school's Catholic ethos. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in French. Demonstrated ability to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level French examinations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and language skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities. A commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic education.
