Gastroenterologist Confidential Search | Presented by Envoy Recruitment Total Compensation: Up to $500,000 Location: Brighton, Massachusetts Position Type: Full-Time Envoy Recruitment is conducting a confidential search for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a growing, highly respected GI service in the Greater Boston market. This is a rare opportunity to practice community-based gastroenterology while maintaining a strong academic and tertiary-care affiliation. The role offers the autonomy and patient continuity of a community practice, paired with the depth of resources, referral support, and academic environment of a major teaching institution. Position Overview This position is designed for a Gastroenterologist who enjoys comprehensive general GI care and wants to practice within a well-resourced, collaborative, and mission-driven healthcare environment. Your primary clinical practice will be based in Brighton, serving a high-demand community population, while maintaining formal academic and tertiary clinical integration within a leading Boston academic medical center. Key Responsibilities Provide outpatient and inpatient general gastroenterology care Perform routine GI procedures including EGD and colonoscopy Diagnose and manage a full spectrum of GI conditions including GERD, liver disease, IBS, IBD, and GI bleeding Participate in a shared inpatient coverage and call rotation Collaborate with tertiary GI subspecialists for advanced referrals and complex cases Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including APPs, GI nursing, and anesthesia support Optional Academic Opportunities (Based on Interest): Teaching medical students and residents Participation in clinical quality and pathway development initiatives Scholarly and research collaboration within a leading GI academic department Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure Strong procedural skills and patient-centered clinical philosophy Interest in community-focused medicine with academic collaboration Compensation & Benefits Total compensation up to $500,000 Productivity-based incentives Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and malpractice coverage Retirement plan with employer contribution Generous paid time off CME allowance and professional development support Long-term growth and leadership development opportunities Why This Role This opportunity is ideal for Gastroenterologists who want: High earning potential Stable patient volume with strong referral pipelines Community practice feel with academic system resources A long-term career home with leadership and program development pathways If you would like, next I can create: A physician-to-physician outreach message A short passive candidate LinkedIn pitch A recruiter screening script
