Sugar Factory American Brasserie, America’s favorite eatery and celebrity hotspot – known for its over-the-top dishes, sweets and treats – has opened its second Texas location in San Antonio. The world-famous, family-friendly, high-energy celebration destination is located on the popular River Walk at 849 E Commerce St, unit 109.   

“For over a decade, Sugar Factory has delighted guests of all ages with our internationally recognized fun, high energy brand delivering memorable experiences in a family-friendly atmosphere. We are excited to introduce San Antonio to our signature desserts, savory dishes, beautiful photo op walls, and friendly staff,” said partner Larry Rudolph. 

Named “The Most Instagrammed Restaurant in the United States,” Sugar Factory offers a variety of over-the-top eats, with options for any palette, including burgers, salads, pastas, larger-than-life smoking goblets, Insane Milkshakes and more. Every element of Sugar Factory American Brasserie San Antonio has been designed to give guests an interactive experience filled with memorable moments. 

 Offering brunch, lunch, and dinner, Sugar Factory’s menu features burgers, pizzas, pasta, and salads, as well as its signature desserts and colorful rainbow dishes. Popular menu items for brunch include insane pancake stacks, including the Cookie Jar Buttermilk Pancake Stack, made with Oreo crumbles, chocolate chips, and cookie bites, and topped with an ice cream cone and a Hershey’s Cookies ‘N Cream chocolate bar or for those who prefer a savory brunch, they can try the The Sugar Factory Monte Cristo,  a sweet and savory twist on the classic, layered with ham, turkey and swiss cheese and dusted with powdered sugar. 

Popular entree items include the 24K Gold Burger meal, which is dripping in 24k gold leaves and served with gold dusted french fries and a  24K Gold Milkshake – made with Ferrero Rocher golden truffles, and topped with a gold draped chocolate glazed donut; Spicy Arrabiata Spaghetti, served with shrimp and a whole Maine lobster tail; and the South Beach Flair burger, an eight ounce beef patty topped with shrimp, plantains, applewood bacon, lettuce, tomato, chipotle mayo and chimichurri sauce.

San Antonio guests will be able to savor Sugar Factory’s Insane Milkshakes like the Princess Make a Wish or Tie Dye Milkshake made with vanilla ice cream blended with vanilla sauce and topped with whipped cream, popping candy, rainbow sprinkles, candy necklaces, cotton candy and served with Skittles, Pop Rocks and drizzled with red, blue, green and yellow chocolate sauce. Sugar Factory’s most legendary dessert is the sensational King Kong Sundae, which serves up to 12 people and features 24 scoops of ice cream covered with sprinkles, gummy bears, caramel sauce, fudge sauce, and giant whirly pops. 

The 7900-square-foot main dining area features a large, brightly colored flower wall perfect for snapping a picture. From the main room, guests can enter the retail store through a colorful display of large candy hearts. Once inside, guests can choose from more than 50 types of sweet treats on Sugar Factory’s signature floor-to-ceiling candy wall. Outdoor seating is available with a separate 25 seat patio area with a hanging flower ceiling complete with hanging lights. 

 The restaurant’s elevated white marble bar seats provide full-menu service, complete with Sugar Factory’s signature 64-ounce alcohol-infused smoking candy goblets like the popular Lollipop Passion, garnished with lollipops and candy necklaces, and the Watermelon Mojito featuring Pitbull’s Voli 305 Vodka and sour watermelon gummies. Guests can also enjoy celebrity-approved goblets like The Rock’s Soul Man with his Teremana Tequila; 50 Cent’s Candy Shop with Branson Cognac; Mario Lopez’s Monster Hurricane with Casa Mexico Silver Tequila; Travis Scott’s Strawberry Hustle with Cacti Spiked Seltzer; Bruno Mars’ Watermelon Piña Colada and Mai Tai made with SelvaRey Rum; the Chainsmokers’ JAJA Tequila Goblets featuring the Sour Flour Mango Sunrise and Electric Purple Jawbreaker; Nick Jonas and John Varvatos’ Strawberry Cadillac Reposado Margarita made with Villa One Tequila; and The Drake, crafted with his Virginia Black Whiskey.
