As a key member of our Dining Services team, you’ll help create beautifully prepared meals that brighten the day for residents, visitors, and staff. Your role directly supports our mission to enhance the quality of life for every resident, every single day.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, mentor, schedule, and support a talented culinary team while fostering a positive, collaborative kitchen environment.

• Keep daily operations running smoothly by understanding departmental goals, standards, and budgets and adjusting workflows as needed.

• Oversee food purchasing, preparation, inventory, and staffing to maintain exceptional quality while managing costs and minimizing waste.

• Ensure every dish meets our standards by monitoring cooking techniques, tasting results, and coaching team members.

• Collaborate on menu updates that bring variety, creativity, and satisfaction to our residents.

• Maintain proper food storage, sanitation, and safety practices in compliance with health regulations.

What You Bring

Education

• High school diploma required

• Must be 18+ and able to read and write

• ServSafe Manager Certificate (Required)

Experience

• 3 years of Dining Services experience, ideally in a healthcare setting

• At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience

• Cooking: 2 years (Required)

• Management: 2 years (Preferred)

Skills

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff

• Ability to follow directions, stay organized, and maintain high culinary standards

• A positive attitude and a genuine passion for serving others
