Residential Group Home Care Worker

Join our team as a Residential Group Home Care Worker in the heart of Columbus providing support within adult living facilities across the northwest, north, campus and east regions.  This full-time role offers steady work in a climate-controlled setting with all necessary personal protective equipment provided.

Compensation starts at $15.00 hourly with potential for overtime earnings.  Working on holidays entitles you to automatic overtime pay rates.  Our residents are all mobile and self-sufficient; therefore, no physical assistance with mobility, personal hygiene, lifting or bathing is required.

Our operations are continuous throughout the year and we are actively hiring for:

  • 2nd Shift is scheduled 4 pm to 12 midnight
  • 3rd Shift is scheduled 12 midnight to 8 am

 KEY Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general cleaning duties.
  • Assist residents in preparing meals/snacks to ensure proper nutrition.
  • Support persons served in daily activities of living to promote independence such as dishwashing or laundry.
  • Provide prepared evening meals following approved dietician menus.
  • Delivery medication in both prescription and non-prescription form following professional training from onsite Registered Nursing staff.
  • Monitor resident well-being through regular interaction.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent certification.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license is required along with access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Clean driving record not to exceed 4 points.
  • Must meet agency standards upon thorough credentialing process.
  • Pre-employment criminal background checkis mandatory.
  • References will be checked.
  • Pre-employment drug testing will occur.
