(SIT) Surveyor-In-Training Technician (Civil) - Longview

KSA is seeking a self-motivated, civil engineering Survey Technician for our Longview survey department. Experience with C3D experience as well as Carlson working knowledge for well staking, as-builts, and alignment sheets. If you have 1-2 years of experience designing projects under the supervision of a RPLS and value one-on-one mentoring as well as team collaboration, this position is right for you. KSA has a variety of exciting ongoing projects, and we are seeking candidates with proficiency in well staking of lease pads, alignment sheets for new and existing pipelines. Knowledge of working with streets/roads, drainage, and airfield/aviation design as well as having surface manipulation and grading experience would be beneficial.

There are some qualities that we are looking for in a Survey Technician; A willingness to take direction as well as being detail oriented, reliable, and the ability to communicate effectively is essential. Beyond these fundamentals, it is preferred for you to have good numeracy and computer skills as well as a sound knowledge of surveying principles. KSA’s design projects must be constructible at the end of the day, so being able to see the bigger picture will benefit you as a candidate for this position.
