Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Associate Financial Analyst to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with financial planning, analysis, and projection for our company and clients. You will work closely with senior traders to collect data, conduct analysis, and develop actionable insights that inform decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting processes, and variance analyses
- Conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions
- Analyse financial data by collecting, monitoring, creating financial models for decision support
- Improve financial status by analysing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management
- Assist in capital budgeting processes inclusive of capital allocation requests
- Collaborate with accounting team during the closing process each month
- Participate in strategic data analysis as well as research projects
- Maintain database by entering information accurately; ensuring reliability of information provided

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in related field required (Master’s degree preferred)
- Strong analytical skills along with an understanding of corporate finance concepts
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel (macros/VBA is a plus) & PowerPoint
– Knowledgeable about various financial software platforms
– Ability to distil large amounts of data into actionable insights
– Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
