Hourly Manager

As a Shift Supervisor at Mai Poke, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant during your designated shifts. You will be responsible for overseeing the front-of-house and back-of-house activities, leading a team of employees, and maintaining the high standards of service and cleanliness that our customers expect.

Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership:

- Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, excellent work ethic, and a positive attitude.

- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to ensure they deliver exceptional customer service.

- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the team is working cohesively to achieve operational goals.

2. Operational Management:

- Open and close the restaurant following established procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.

- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

- Handle customer inquiries, comments, and complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.

3. Customer Service:

- Greet customers warmly, handle transactions accurately, and address any concerns or special requests.

- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring tables are cleared promptly and condiment stations are stocked.

- Uphold the company's commitment to providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

4. Quality Assurance:

- Monitor food preparation to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to recipes and presentation standards.

- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify any maintenance or repair needs.

- Address any issues related to food quality, service, or cleanliness promptly and effectively.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the food service industry preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
