Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our storm restoration team. The Carpenter will be responsible for performing structural repairs, rebuilding, and finishing work on residential and/or commercial properties damaged by storms. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural and finish carpentry work including framing, trim, doors, windows, siding, and cabinetry as needed.

• Assess storm-damaged structures and determine the best repair or rebuilding approach.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.

• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment.

• Collaborate with project managers, insurance adjusters, and other trades (roofers, electricians, etc.) to complete restoration projects.

• Ensure work complies with building codes, safety standards, and company quality guidelines.

• Remove damaged materials and assist in demolition when required.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.

• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and answer questions about the restoration process.

Qualifications:

• Proven carpentry experience, preferably in construction, restoration, or remodeling.

• Strong knowledge of carpentry methods, tools, and building codes.

• Ability to perform both rough and finish carpentry.

• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs) and work in varying weather conditions.

• Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to unexpected challenges on job sites.

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

• [Preferred] Experience in storm restoration, insurance work, or emergency response construction.
