Are you a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) looking for a flexible, impactful role in a supportive school environment? Join Devereux as an Independent Contractor in Colonial School District, located in New Castle, DE.

 

Location: Colonial School District, New Castle, DESchedule: 2–3 days/week, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (school hours)Compensation: $80–$90/hour (based on experience)Employment Type: 1099 Contract

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide behavioral support to students with intensive needs
  • Conduct FBAs, develop PBSPs, supervise RBTs, and train staff
  • Collaborate with a team of BCBAs, behavioral health professionals, and educators
  • Support school-wide systems for social-emotional learning
  • Engage in research initiatives and attend conferences with financial support

Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions (DESS) is a comprehensive initiative made up of five specialized divisions: the Center for Effective Schools, the Center for Resilient Children, Direct Care Training Resources, the Center for Autism Educational Services, and the Center for Mental Health Services. Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited, behaviorally-focused program in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • BCBA certification
  • Candidates who have completed all fieldwork supervision hours and are scheduled to take the BCBA exam are also encouraged to apply
  • Experience delivering direct behavior analytic services to individuals with autism spectrum disorders or behavioral challenges
  • At least one year of experience consulting or working within a public school setting is preferred
  • Willingness to travel as part of the role.
