The pay range for this position is $22.00 to $25.58 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Location: Fitchburg, MA

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

 

Devereux Massachusetts serves students with various complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Devereux CARES (Center for Autism Research and Education Services) School in Fitchburg, MA is a small private special education school that supports students ages 8- 22 with Autism Spectrum Disorders, developmental disabilities, dual diagnoses, and social skills deficits. Our primary goal is to teach functional and pro-social skills that can be easily generalized to the student’s community and home. There is a strong emphasis on functional communication and skill acquisition using Applied Behavior Analysis and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support. At The CARES School, students learn academic, social, daily living, and independent living skills, as well as community and vocational skill development.

 

As a Case Coordinator, you will:

  • Work closely with the Prinicpal and the Clinician to provide case management services as a liaison between center, families, agencies, social workers, lawyers and other involved parties.
  • Complete QI responsibilities for programs as well as gather clinical information and complete documentation as assigned.
  • Serve as a member of individual treatment teams, program milieu team, and QI team. Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment. 

  • Engage with youth in a meaningful and positive manner, teaching and prompting appropriate behaviors, and providing positive reinforcement for the same.
  • Possess adequate organizational and communication skills needed to complete required documentation, such as progress notes and incident reports.  

 

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology or Social Work, or other related field is preferred.
  • Minimum one year experience working with children/adolescents with mental health disabilities or graduate study in counseling, casework, social work, or related field.
