What Devereux Looks for in YOU

  • Responsible for completing annual Nursing Assessments for each residential individual.
  • Conduct quarterly choking assessments for each individual in day only and residential programs identified as high risk.
  • Review all dietary changes for day only and residential programs.
  • Conduct specialized training for new hire orientations and on-going as needed.
  • Review medications charts, labs and medication counts to ensure accuracy within the group home.
  • Assisting group homes with primary care physician or other doctors as needed.
  • Review charts to ensure all required documentation has been received.

The Registered Nurse reports directly to the Director of Nursing. The RN will provide nursing support in a hybrid capacity, both field, office and remote as needed covering programs in Gloucester, Camden, Cumberland and Atlantic County.

 

Salary: $77,445-80,000

Qualifications

What YOU will Bring:

  • Active RN license in New Jersey
  • One year of nursing experience preferred, but New Grads will also be considered
  • Previous professional experience in a behavioral healthcare setting preferred
  • Passion for working with adults with developmental disabilities or willingness to learn
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Compassion, patience, and advocacy mindset
