We are the Vehicle Architecture team in the MB Engineering Center department of Daimler Truck Innovation Centre India. We are part of the MB Trucks Vehicle Definition team responsible for concept layout for all new vehicle programs.

This role is for the MB Trucks Vehicle Architecture team, and the candidate should possess the following experiences and know-how:

1. Experience in entire vehicle activities for commercial vehicles (heavy-duty trucks and medium-duty trucks).

2. Exposure to OEM processes for entire vehicle concept layout and integration.

3. Knowledge of powertrain packaging, wheelbase, FOH, and ROH layout experience.

4. Experience in vehicle digital mockups (DMU) management, including DMU build, DMU check, clash and clearance, and conducting DMU review meetings.

5. Experience in creating vehicle-level drawings, including full vehicle and powertrain drawings.

6. Working knowledge of battery electric vehicles and other zero-emission vehicles.

7. Knowledge of eComponents, HV battery, and ePowertrain or eDrive packaging layout for battery electric vehicles.

8. Knowledge of characteristics management for trucks, especially weight management.

9. Knowledge of vehicle and component regulations, such as ECE, FMVSS, and TRIAS.

10. Knowledge of homologation documentation and vehicle type approval processes with different certifying agencies.

11. Knowledge of vehicle and component digital validation and testing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical or Automobile.

Experience in OEM is preferred, with a total minimum of 2 years of experience in the domain.

Knowledge of NX and product lifecycle management tools like Teamcenter will be preferred.

Language skills: Fluent in English, with good communication and meeting moderation skills.
