Speech-Language Pathologist

Position: Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Part-time role at a state public charter school serving grades K-8 in Reno, NV. This is an independent contractor position paid hourly. Supervision for Clinical Fellowship is available. Caseload involves approximately 30+ students with a commitment of over 20 hours per week. Opportunity to create your own schedule and manage documentation tasks remotely. Additional hours may be available in other environments such as private practice and a small private school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring speech-language therapy.

• Conduct both standardized and non-standardized evaluations.

• Set specific goals within IEPs tailored to each student's needs.

• Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, progress notes, IEP documents, and other relevant data.

• Work collaboratively with the special education team, educators, families, and external service providers.

Essential Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.

• Must hold a valid Nevada Speech Language Pathology License prior to starting services.

• Must obtain a Nevada Department of Education License before commencing duties.
