Direct Support Professional

Our organization is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team.

Direct Support Professionals are responsible for providing support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting them with daily living activities, and promoting independence.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities

Including:

- personal care and hygiene

- meal preparation

- medication administration

- transportation.

- Implement and document individual service plans

- Engage individuals in meaningful activities and community outing

- Maintain a safe and clean living environment

- Communicate effectively with individuals, family members, and BRI teammates

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Ability to pass a background check.

Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.

Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
