Project Manager - Construction

We are on the hunt for a Project Manager to inspire and guide our unique home builds and renovations from initial concept to final completion.

Your Mission (Key Responsibilities):

• Lead daily project synchronization with our Production Team and Site Managers to ensure seamless communication and adherence to budgets and schedules.

• Take charge of financial budget by forecasting costs, providing timely updates, tracking expenses, and ensuring all team members are on the same page.

• Draft tender requests efficiently; update project requirements while cultivating partnerships with tradespeople and suppliers well before they’re needed onsite.

• Prepare client's project selections with clear details and potential alternative options.

• Review trade accounts thoroughly, confirming administrative and site related specifications are accurate and up to date.

• Maintain frequent dialogue with Site Managers regarding site progress; plan well in advance ahead of the project schedule.

• Issue purchase orders accurately; verify all details are included and modified with any project variances or further client requirements.

• Facilitate internal updates alongside client reviews and selections with project schedule and budget implications.

• Assist in researching new trades/suppliers focusing on innovative custom designs; contribute towards forming new collaborative relationships.

• Review project drawings; manage and circulate updated editions to Site Manager and to the upcoming trades on site.

What We Seek:

A visionary leader who prioritizes solutions within a team-centric environment, equipped with practical know-how. Possess strong communication skills, clear yet compelling when engaging clients, and demonstrates proficiency in custom residential construction alongside your ability to interpret architectural blueprints effectively.

Strong organizational skills paired with software experience (MS Office Suite); familiarity using Gantt scheduling tools preferred. Experience with CoConstruct or similar software, an added benefit.

Holding either diploma/degree qualifications related towards Architectural/ Construction Technology/Project Management proves beneficial here too! Additionally, a strong asset with a minimum of five years industry experience ideally focused around custom residential projects.
