Reclaim & Manufacturing Support Technician
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our Manufacturing Support Group. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a manufacturing, production, logistics, quality, or process environment who enjoys problem-solving, data analysis, and continuous improvement.
Working within our semiconductor manufacturing facility, you will play a key role in managing silicon wafers through their lifecycle, supporting production requirements, monitoring costs, and driving efficiency improvements. Full training will be provided in our specialist processes.
Shift 7am till 7pm. Working on front end rotation
Week 1:Sunday , Monday, Tuesday ;
Week2 Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
(Training sessions will be held on day shift)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the movement and availability of silicon wafers to support production requirements.
- Coordinate the recovery and reuse of materials through a range of manufacturing processes.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are available when required.
- Maintain accurate records and generate regular reports on material usage, costs, and performance.
- Coordinate shipments to external suppliers and service providers.
- Update and maintain process specifications and documentation.
- Support the training of operational teams on reclaim and material control processes.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Participate in continuous improvement and efficiency projects across the manufacturing environment.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and other Manufacturing Support Group initiatives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure operational objectives are achieved.
What We're Looking For
We welcome applications from candidates with experience in manufacturing, production, operations, logistics, supply chain, quality, technical support, or similar environments.
Essential:
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing, production, logistics, or operational environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling data and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and cost reduction.
Desirable:
- Experience of working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of contamination control, quality systems, or process control.
- Experience of inventory management, production planning, material control, or reporting.
- Exposure to project work or continuous improvement activities.
