Medical Billing Specialist Needed in Lake County, Ohio

A healthcare facility in Lake County, Ohio is seeking a skilled medical billing professional.

The organization operates two locations: one in Mentor and the other in Willoughby.

Responsibilities will encompass, but are not restricted to:

• Preparing and submitting insurance claims

• Managing collections, including contacting patients regarding overdue balances

• Proficiently interpreting and verifying CPT and ICD 10 codes along with procedure modifiers

• Assembling medical documentation for submission to insurance providers

• Communicating with insurance companies about claim denials or appeals

• Assisting patients with any billing inquiries they may have

• Performing general administrative tasks
